 The Past, The Present & The Future...Our humble beginning started back in 1978 where we first established a base of operation in Barrington, Illinois with two single color 18 x 25 presses and two 10 x 15 presses. 3e started as the exclusive half size printer in Chicago while also being a phone answering company. As the company grew, we moved the location of our facility to Arlington Heights, Illinois and added two 2 color presses and grew our work force to twenty employees. By the early 1990’s, we had become the second company in the Chicago land area to offer desktop publishing services. In 1998, 3e built our current location. A 40,000 sq. foot manufacturing facility that encompasses all of the tools to be a success. These tools include conventional printing presses running 1-6 colors, aqueous coating, digital presses, large format, full bindery services, inserting, folding & gluing, stitching, a mail division, and warehousing services all under one roof. As the 2000’s approached, it brought with it technological advances and higher standards for digital printing quality. To match the ever changing market, 3e added a six color press, direct to plate services, and a direct mail division with in house fulfillment and procurement. Today we are still an ever growing Marketing Communications company that continues to adapt to new technologies and the changing market. Our future is truly boundless as the sky is the limit. |
